- Diary content: Voice or text entries you create
- Audio recordings: Voice memos you record
- Photos: Photos you attach to memories (stored locally)
- Community content: Anonymous posts and replies in Tree Hole and Message in a Bottle
- Community photos: Photos you choose to share in community features
1.2 Data Collected Automatically
- Anonymous ID: Randomly generated ID stored on your device for community features
- Push notification token: Used to send notifications (stored by a cloud service provider)
- Usage analytics: App usage events and feature usage
- Crash logs: Technical error reports
- Device/app info: App version, OS version, and language settings
- Location data: If you grant permission, we collect coordinates to show location and weather in entries
Important: Voxly does not require account registration. We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying information.

3.1 Local Storage
- Diary content, audio files, photos, and settings are stored locally on your device
- App lock PIN is stored in secure storage; biometric checks are handled by the OS
- Backups/export files are stored locally unless you choose to share them
3.2 Cloud Processing and Services
- Cloud AI services: Transcription and text analysis when online
- Cloud database/storage services: Community content and photos
- Analytics/crash services: Usage statistics and error reports
- Push notification services: Notification delivery
- Subscription services: Entitlement management
- Map/weather data providers: Reverse geocoding and weather

5. Your Choices and Rights
5.1 Data Control
- Access, edit, or delete diary entries at any time
- Export your data using in-app backup/export features
- Delete local data by clearing the app or uninstalling
5.2 Settings and Permissions
- Disable location or notifications in system settings
- Enable or disable community features and auto-sync
- Manage subscription or restore purchases through the app stores
If you want a community post removed, contact us with details and we will review the request.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post updates on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you in the app.
